Bricklayers Records |
|
The History Bricklayers were required to help the industrial revolution by building factories and homes for the workers drawn in from the countryside. Theye were helped by the development of local brickworks. What records can you find? The modern records centre at Warwick University maintain the archives of trade union records including the various bricklayers unions. * County Records Office and Local Museums both hold records of relevant firms and individuals. Searches should be made firstly by the individual persons name, then by the firms name and lastly by the trade.
