Motor Industry Records |
|
The History The motor industry grew until the 1900's when production started to shrink. Many men were employed in the motor industry and a variety of rolls. .What records can you find?
The modern records centre at Warwick University maintain the archives of trade union records including the various motor Industry unions. A personal visit or hiring a researcher would be required as the records are not yet online. * County Records Office and Local Museums both hold records of relevant firms and individuals. Searches should be made firstly by the individual persons name, then by the firms name and lastly by the trade.
